Pictures of the GunBuilds Goryunov SG Series
The following pictures are for your enjoyment. I hope they give you a good idea about what I'm doing with this well built and rugged ComBlock firearm. If I can answer any questions you may have regarding building a special version for you, please let me know.
This is my personal Gory. As you can see, I've taken a few liberties with it.
The gun is more of a SGM than a SG-43. I have added an ammo box carrier and a case catcher to the mix. Both clip onto the mount so as to not damage the original unit.
The camo attempt is still being looked at with the idea of re-painting it.
Here's a close up of the fire control unit. The crank and internal cam can be left out if your state won't allow them. The FCG box must stay. I can also paint the crank to match the gun if you want it to be less noticable.
Here's a top view showing the FCG box and the safety lever at the top left of the FCG box. It locks the trigger so neither the crank or butterfly trigger work. Note the SGM style charging handle on the right side.
The reason for the mix of parts is I started with a SGMT (tank and vehicle mount version) parts kit. The SGMT came with no sights so I added the SG-43 sights and removed the electric soleniod from the spade grips. This required me to make a butterfly trigger from scratch. This is why I recomment buying a SG-43 or SGM parts kit to start with.
